Loads of essential and unusual costuming things medieval to 1950. Everything a well-dressed person needs to look correct including a few clothing items. This colourful stall is crammed with the unusual old and new laid out in historic style. Beads, braids, feathers, gloves, shawls, buttons, fans, bags, hats, jewellery, hat pins, ribbons, lace, cuff-links, collars, post-cards, leather thonging and points, fabric, patch-work and appliqué pieces …..
the list is endless.

The public and other costumed participants, adults and children, crowd around to solve their costume and present items.  There is no catalogue since all items are unique.  Prices range from 5p to £50.

Costume problems from any period can be discussed with the stall-holders. Costume jewellery brought in by the public can sometimes be repaired whilst they wait.

The stall can be adapted to suit specific eras and may be set up in your marquee or, preferably, in a historic venue.  These unusual haberdashery and craft supplies are also suitable for large craft fairs and needlecraft events. Invitations to two day or longer events invited.  Stall-holders wear middle-class or lower class historical outfits as appropriate. 

 Live music on the pipe and tabor can also be included when the stall-holders are not busy.
