The book sells to an amazing variety of people: groups, costume-related societies, libraries, university departments and museums as well as individual costume-makers and wearers. Book reviews and unsolicited letters from individuals have been consistently excellent.

To keep your copy up-to-date send for 'amendments and additions'. The Garter is regularly updated four or five times a year. Your second edition update costs £1 sterling plus a stamped addressed envelope,  cheque made out to F. Tucker, sterling only.  When you purchase a new copy the update is free.
