Please note this copyright statement from the 2nd edition of The Garter:

Copyright 2nd Edition

"All rights reserved. Apart from any fair dealing for the purposes of criticism or review permitted under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act, 1988, this publication, in whole or part, may not be reproduced, stored or transmitted in any form by paper or electronically or by any means without the prior permission of the editor in accordance with the terms and licensing agency. No part of this book may be used for compiling another list or directory without permission. Enquires concerning reproduction outside should be sent to the editor. Infringement of copyright will be vigorously pursued.

In other words please do not photocopy parts of this book or put it onto the Internet. You can purchase your very own copy from me, the editor. It only costs £10 which is not very much considering the amount of work I have put into it. And I am likely to give permission anyway; so do enquire first. I will be really unhappy if I find out that you have copied even little bits or sent back entries for confirmation or correction without first discussing it with me. On the other hand my solicitor will be delighted – he will be thinking of all the money he can earn by taking you to court!"

I am interested in sponsoring the next edition; how do I go about it?
I will be delighted to hear from you.
Please write and we can discuss the form of your sponsorship, practical or monetary.

I love the cartoons. How do I get in touch with the illustrator?
Dix Pix is a very talented set-up. Contact us, briefly describing your idea and contact will be made on your behalf. Contact information is also at the front of the book.
